The advertising being assessed is an ad to get the Skoal brand vs cigarette smoking. This kind of ad depicts a younger female playing pool in a bar. It can be mainly directed towards young males. By simply telling teenagers by sinking " Skoal”, their sexual life will be improved, because they are inside with the girl instead of outside smoking a cigarette by themselves. This ad is beneficial due to the target audience and their improved hormones about that age.

" Skoal” is intending to the company that is creating the advertisement. They are trying to convince young men that if perhaps they drop skoal, they may have an improved sex life. By simply saying; " Dipping compared to Smoking. Sinking. Why? Better for my personal sex life. So what do you indicate? While some will be outside smoking cigarettes, I'm inside working. ” Skoal will help their selves by inserting an attractive female on a pool table and a man without your knowledge dipping watching her. This leads teenage boys to believe if they dip they will achieve a sex life and have a better intimate relationships. They are saying this to acquire more males towards all their brand, promote more of their products.

The reliability of the writer is very low. The credibility of saying if you dip your sex life will increase is not true. There are few women who want a guy who also dips. Therefor making the assumption that dipping will increase your intimate relationships is very deceptive.

The psychological appeal of this ad is very high. The moment young men start to see the woman inside the ad within the pool stand it makes their human hormones go crazy. At the era targeted teenage boys will do everything to get sexual intercourse. The Skoal advertisers know that men's bodily hormones are flaming at this age plus they want to make their very own sales rise by targeting the right target audience.
